Where we work
We're based at Lynfield in Roydon, on the Essex–Hertfordshire border, and have helped local families since 1999. We work with clients across the whole of the UK by online video meeting; for clients close to Roydon we also offer home visits where they suit the work.
Most of our clients meet us by online video meeting — usually Google Meet, or Teams, Zoom or plain telephone if you prefer — from their own sofa, with family members able to join from wherever they live. For clients close to Roydon we also offer home visits where they suit the work: whether a visit is right depends on the size and complexity of the estate, and we'll talk it through with you on the first phone call. Either way it's the same senior estate planner, the same fixed fee agreed before we start, and the same care over the drafting.
Our home. ELATCO is based at Lynfield, Harlow Road, Roydon, on the Essex–Hertfordshire border, and has looked after families in the village and the surrounding hamlets since 1999. For Roydon clients a home visit is usually straightforward.

Many families prefer it: relatives living in different places can all join the same call.
Our wills and lasting powers of attorney are prepared under the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, where the law is different, we'll talk through on the first call how we can help.
The first meeting is free and usually lasts 30 to 40 minutes. Most people do it by online video meeting (Google Meet, Teams or Zoom); for local clients, where a visit suits the work, we can come to your kitchen table instead. Either way you'll be speaking to Laurence or Kealy, not a switchboard.
